Acting For Screen Workshop - Day One

It was really wonderful to host this amazing 2-day workshop at the studio for local acting school ‘Play Every Day’. It was a perfect collaboration with both creative businesses based in the same town (Macclesfield), presenting a top quality workshop with other presenters from the Adelaide Hills.

Rachael Williams ran this amazing 2-day workshop for teenagers in the Adelaide Hills in the inaugural ‘Acting for Screen’ workshop series. Here are some images and notes from Day One.

With the help of guest presenters Cameron Roberts (Director) and Wendy Ticao (Agent at TKO Management), the participants learned about how to navigate the screen industry, who’s who on set, who they are responsible to, how to work with directors, how to navigate an audition, how to work with an agent, and how to do a self tape (amongst other awesome content).

The participants were amazing – taking themselves out of their comfort zones and taking on a lot of information across the day. It was wonderful to see the different ways the space was used for the various activities across the day, and such a thrill to host this wonderful workshop. And by the way – everyone in this workshop (presenters and participants) are Adelaide-Hills-based creatives, woohoo!
